At Mercedes-Benz of Brooklyn, we’re proud to support Donate Life this April for Donate Life Month. Organ donation is a cause close to our hearts, and we want to make sure our community knows just how important it is. It’s about spreading hope, giving people a chance to live life to the fullest, and ultimately saving lives.

Organ donation impacts more people than you might think. In New York, 350 people died in 2024 waiting for the organ they needed. No one is too old or too sick to register. Anyone age 16+ can join the NYS Donate Life Registry. Organ donation doesn’t cost anything to the donor’s family. It doesn’t interfere with medical care—donation happens only after death has been determined. One organ donor can save 8 lives and heal 75 more through tissue and eye donations. These numbers represent real people in our community.
