The 2020 Mercedes-Benz CLA will be arriving before the end of the year! The 2020 CLA has been completely redesigned for the upcoming year and we cannot wait to get our hands on one at Mercedes-Benz of Brooklyn. The 2020 CLA (European images shown above) has been improved with upgrades to driver assists and safety features, as well as, a redesigned interior and exterior styling. There has been significant anticipation around the release of the new 4-door coupe, and deservedly so. So what exactly makes the 2020 CLA so highly anticipated?

The new CLA was redesigned inside and out for 2020. The interior was redesigned in both styling and functionality. The cockpit was updated with new styling featuring a wing-shaped expansive dashboard that stretches across the entire cabin. The driver display and infotainment center were elegantly placed together on a seamless, freestanding touchscreen display on the wing-shaped dashboard. The CLA will come with the newest version of Mercedes-Benz User Experience system that allows users to communicate with the CLA by using voice commands initiated by saying “Hey Mercedes”.

The new CLA also received updated exterior styling, making it sportier and more dynamic. The body lines on the CLA flow seamlessly from the headlights to the taillights to keep your eye moving along the vehicle. Some of the body lines have been simplified, which pair perfectly with new headlight and bumper designs that are bolder and sportier. Other styling upgrades include new LED headlights, a panoramic roof, and a new AMG® model and available “Night” package.

The 2020 CLA also received performance improvements making it more powerful and more agile. The new CLA will come with a 2.0-liter, turbocharged engine with 221 horsepower. That’s 13 more horsepower than the 2019 CLA and 33 more horsepower than the Mercedes-Benz A 220 sedan. The 2020 CLA comes standard with front-wheel drive but 4MATIC® all-wheel drive is still an available option. Upgrades have been made to the suspension and steering of the CLA. The new CLA is more stable due to being 2 inches longer, 2 inches wider, 1 inch longer at the wheelbase, and lower to the ground that the 2019 model. Mercedes-Benz engineers claim that the new 2020 CLA is the best driving compact Mercedes-Benz model for the upcoming year (European images shown below). With improved handling and more power, the new CLA is going to be an absolute dream to drive.
