Entry-Level Quick Skills Assessment

This is a basic skills test for an entry-level employee at the dealership. Completing this assessment allows us to evaluate your fit for our entry-level positions.

This shorter assessment measures attention to detail, rule comprehension, transaction math, document review, process judgment, and basic Excel knowledge.

Basic Information

Section 1: Attention to Detail

Review each pair carefully and determine whether the information matches exactly.

Section 2: Stock Number Rules

Stock Number Rules:
Mercedes-Benz stock numbers generally start with B. Sprinter stock numbers generally start with S.
The next two digits are the model year. The next four digits are the sequence number.

Suffixes:
L = retired loaner. A retired loaner is a used vehicle, even if it follows a new-vehicle-style stock number sequence.
X = swapped-in vehicle, usually through a dealer trade/swap.
U = used vehicle purchased off-lease.
K = used vehicle purchased from Kelley Blue Book. A Kelley Blue Book purchase is not a new vehicle source.

Section 3: Transaction Math

Choose the correct amount. Pay close attention to remaining balance, change due, and split payments.

Assume today’s date is June 4, 2026. Use the reference documents below to answer questions 20–24.
