Hazard Warning Light
General warning hazard light that accompanies other warning lights
Coolant Temperature
Coolant temperature too high
Coolant Level
Indicates coolant level is running too low and may cause overheating. Stop as soon as possible, let the engine cool, and add coolant.
Airbag
Detects when a fault has occurred with the airbag system. Possible causes are cables and connectors being disrupted under the seats, airbag sensor, seat occupancy sensor, and an object in the belt buckle.
Impaired Brake
Associated with low brake fluid levels, EBD malfunction, or trailer brake force booster malfunction.
Engine Oil Level
Indicates low engine oil level, too high, display malfunction, or oil level sensor fault.
Check Engine
Several potential faults are associated with it. The most common reasons for checking engine light include fuel that has almost been used up, injection control malfunction, exhaust gas after-treatment malfunction, or oxygen air intake sensor.
Glow Plugs
The warning signal will come on when turning the ignition key to position 2 and the plug light remains lit for approximately one minute, or the warning light remains lit for approximately one minute while the engine is running. In colder conditions, the engine may not start. Should be serviced immediately.
Tire / Tyre Pressure
Light either comes or remains flashing for 60 seconds. If always on, the tire pressure monitoring system has detected rapid loss of pressure in one tire.
ABS
Warning light comes on while the engine is running indicating the anti-lock braking system has either malfunctioned or is temporarily unavailable. ESP®, ASR, and BAS®, as well as cruise control, are also unavailable as a result. There is an increased risk of locked wheels under heavy braking. Steering will also be significantly impaired.
Diesel Exhaust Fluid
Diesel exhaust fluid warning light comes on with the engine running when the exhaust gas after-treatment system has malfunctioned or the level of Diesel Exhaust Fluid (DEF) is running low, contaminated, or thinned.
Distance Warning
Stays on constantly when a fault has been detected with the system. Bad weather conditions may display warnings.
Lane-Keeping
Helps the driver by alerting them if they have left their lane without the use of the indicators.
Brake Pad / Linings
Illuminates on the dashboard after the engine has started or while the vehicle is in motion and indicates brake pads/lining have reached the limit. Have brake pads changed as soon as possible.
ASR / BAS
ASR (Acceleration Skid Control) and BAS® (Electronic Braking Assist) light come constantly on or flashes for two possible reasons: If constant, ASR has been disabled due to malfunction, if flashing, one more tire has reached the limit of grip.
ESP
Electronic Stability Program has been deactivated when the light is constantly on.
Air Filter
The air filter has been contaminated. Change the air filter as soon as possible.
Water in Fuel
Water has collected in the water separator in the fuel filter and has reached the maximum level. Requires draining
Low Battery Charge
If the red battery light stays on or comes on when driving, there is a fault in the battery, alternator, or torn poly V belt.
Parking Brake
Parking brakes become impaired when driving on wet roads or dirt-covered surfaces causing corrosion and a reduction in braking force.
Bulb
Yellow bulb symbol lights up when the key is turned to position 2 in the ignition lock or one of the exterior lighting bulbs has failed.
